" I call on you, brethren, to listen patiently and bear with this message of exhortation and admonition and encouragement..."
Hebrews 13:22 AMPC
Mr. Roland Stewart was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He is best known as “Stew” by some and “Stewhype” by those who truly know him. His ever-present laughter and enthusiasm for meeting and interacting with others helped him to discover his calling and purpose for the Body of Christ as an encourager through his God-given gift of laughter.
Making people laugh is his claim, which has opened many doors for him to be an MC Upon Request. He takes each opportunity to be "Warm Stew for the Cold (a cold world)."
Stew's illustrious career includes appearances in various television series, including American Crime, Seasons 1 and 2; “The Leftovers”; and “The Catch,” as well as others. With KZFrazier Drama, LLC, he serves as Director of Sales and Marketing, and one of their primary drama ministers, which allowed him to act in four stage productions.
After 23 years of honorable service to the United States Army as a combat veteran in the communications field, he currently stewards a radio broadcast at KRGN, The R.O.C.K., 98.5 FM, Central Texas’ only 24/7 Gospel radio station. God has entrusted and ordained him to use humor to passionately encourage God’s people through the Triumphant Praise with the Stewhype radio broadcast.
By day, he enthusiastically serves as a full-time VA Benefits Advisor for the Department of Veterans Affairs. He sees it as his way of giving back to those in the military community who have given to us. He endeavors to do whatever God would have him to do with the hope of full-time ministry in the communication fields of Radio and Television, as well as a Host or MC.
Stew has been “hyped up” for Jesus every since Jesus saved his soul on July 13, 1998. He is a devoted Christian whose claim is Jesus Is Lord and Savior, proclaiming “It Is All About Him” (Jesus Christ).
Stew is married to his lovely wife, Lydia. They are the proud parents of one daughter and five grandchildren.
